Impacted tooth is also known as wisdom tooth. When these teeth cannot find a place to come out in the mouth, that is, if the person has a problem with jaw stenosis, they are buried in the palate. Detailed clinical and radiological examination is important before the treatment of impacted wisdom teeth. In young individuals who have enough room to erupt in the jawbone and whose eruption direction is normal, medical treatment may be sufficient for the follow-up of these teeth and pain control in case of pain. Impacted wisdom teeth, which have harmful effects on teeth and bone tissue, should be removed immediately.
